SlickFlight
Data controller
Searching, booking and supporting the flights you ask us to arrange
Information we collect
- Trip details. Traveller names, dates of birth, contact details, flights, and passport details where a route needs them.
- Payment details. Processed by our payment partners. We receive the result and a shortened card reference, never the full number.
- Messages. What you send through forms, email or chat, and our replies.
- Site and campaign data. IP address, device and browser, pages visited, and campaign tags such as
utm_source,gclidormsclkidwhen present.
Why we use it
- To book your trip – needed to provide the service you asked for.
- To help you afterwards – our legitimate interest in supporting bookings we made.
- To meet legal and tax duties – including keeping transaction records.
- To prevent fraud – our legitimate interest and a requirement of our payment partners.
- To measure the site and our advertising – only if you agree through the cookie banner.
Who receives it
Airlines and booking partners, so tickets can be issued. Payment processors. Hosting, email and customer-management providers that run our systems. Analytics and advertising services, only with your consent. Authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Some of these providers are outside your country. Where information is transferred, we rely on recognised safeguards and contracts.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually seven years after the end of the financial year. General messages not linked to a booking are kept for up to two years. Analytics data follows the retention period of the service concerned.
Opting out, step by step
- Analytics and advertising cookies. Choose Decline on the cookie banner and they are not loaded. To change an earlier choice, clear cookies for slickflight.com in your browser and reload; the banner will ask again.
- Follow-up messages. Reply asking to be removed, or email [email protected] with “opt out” in the subject. We act on it within five business days. We do not send a newsletter.
- Call-back requests. Tell us on the call or by email and we will stop contacting you about that enquiry.
- Your other rights. To access, correct, delete or move your information, or to object to its use, email [email protected].
Service messages about a live booking, such as itineraries, ticket numbers and schedule changes, continue while the booking is active because they are part of the service.
We do not sell or share personal information as US state privacy laws define those terms.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law allows. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
Cookies needed for search and booking load automatically. Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them. See our cookie notice.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, booking records are open only to staff who need them, and cards are handled by PCI-compliant processors. If a breach occurs, we will notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
Children
The site is for adults. We handle a child's details only as a traveller on a booking made by an adult.
